An Emergent Assembly
Carla Arcos, Lorenzo García-Andrade Llamas, and many more
An Emergent Assembly is a two-day gathering of like-hearted individuals and groups whose areas of work are guided by emergence. Their practices have developed in response to necessities, desires, urgencies, and pleasures in learning otherwise unattended by hegemonic structures. The participants of this assembly are not always affiliated to formal schools but do somehow operate next to them. During these days, each initiative is invited to transfer their own form of study to the rest of the assembly, using a format of their choice: trainings, performance, talks, walks, beauty salons, cooking . . .
After careful negotiation within the Ultraemergence network, this program is by invitation only. Trust-building for these groups was prioritized.
In attendance: Andrea González, Eet Meerbosch, Eindhoven University Rebellion, Embodied Theory Assembly, Erasmus School of Colour, The Garden Department, Lucrative Dumpster Dive, Massa Madre’s Orchard, Mokum Kraakt, Public Sewer, Radical Cross Stitch Groningen, SPIN, Tools for the Times, Trash Bunker, and Utrecht in Solidarity with Palestine.
