DiEM25 is a pan-European, crossborder movement working toward a democratized European Union in the face of rising nationalisms. Launched in 2015, DiEM25 organizes through participation and openness to develop common answers to the five crises they identify as affecting Europe: debt, banks, poverty, low investment, and migration. In addition to Grootveld, Propositions #2: Assemblism contributors Lorenzo Marsili and Igor Stokfiszewski are affiliated with DiEM25.
