Alfred Marasigan is an artist and educator who conducts serendipitous research and transmedial practices, primarily through livestreaming. Emotional geography, Norwegian slow TV, and magical realism anchor his explorations on simultaneity, sustainability, solidarity, and sexuality. His work has been shown at Het Nieuwe Instituut, Rotterdam; Tromsø Kunstforening, Tromsø; and Goldsmiths’ EnclaveLab, London, amongst others. Currently based in Manila, he has been a faculty member of the Department of Fine Arts at Ateneo de Manila University, Quezon City since 2013.
