Throughout the course of Trainings for the Not-Yet<\/em><\/a>, the Basic Activist Kitchen<\/strong> (the BAK) <\/em>organizes daily cooking sessions and meals for trainings participants as well as for passers-by. The Basic Activist Kitchen<\/em> is run by a group of Utrecht-based activists, artists, and researchers with backgrounds in theatre, art, squatting, organizing, anthropology, history, and gender studies, in collaboration with Food for Good, Asia Komarova (Casco and the Outsiders), M. G. Lostia, Willem Geertman Art and Culture Collective, Revolutionaire Eenheid, Sayonara Stutgard, 3k, and others, initiated by Jeanne van Heeswijk.

Each week, different individuals and collectives are invited to collaborate and thus engage their respective practices and networks in the activity of communal cooking. The Basic Activist Kitchen<\/em> also organizes several workshops.<\/p>\n

<\/span>This workshop is a cooking activity \/ conversation about collective cooking \/ cooking a collective. What does a group of people need to become a collective? We will try to describe that like a recipe. In a small group we discuss the questions: what do we cook? How, when and where do we cook it?\u00a0 And who do we cook it with \/ for? How can a cooking collective be a model for the post-capitalistic society?\u00a0
