Ulises biedt een inventaris van titels die in de Verenigde Staten niet wijd verspreid zijn, over hedendaagse kunst, grafisch ontwerp, kunsttheorie, architectuur, kritiek, curatori\u00eble praktijk en aangrenzende gebieden. Met projecten, tentoonstellingen en residenties, verkent Ulises&#8217; open programmering het publiceren als broedplaats voor nieuwe vormen van artistieke, redactionele, curatori\u00eble en pedagogische praktijken. Ulises ziet het democratische potentieel van publiceren als een voertuig voor activisme, onderwijs, samenkomen en uitwisseling. Ulises werd in 2016 opgericht door Nerissa Cooney, Lauren Downing, Joel Evey, Kayla Romberger, Gee Wesley en Ricky Yanas.
