Over

farid rakun is an artist, writer, editor, and teacher. He is a researcher and coordinator of Institut ruangrupa (Ir.), the education platform of contemporary art organization ruangrupa, Jakarta, that explores issues of urbanism and culture through intensive interdisciplinary collaboration. Among other projects, ruangrupa recently curated SONSBEEK ‘16: transACTION, Sonsbeek Park, Arnhem, 2016. Rakun has recently co-curated Infrastructural Rifts: Souls and Soils of Disaster Developmentalism (with Rachel O’Reilly), Dutch Art Institute, Arnhem, 2017, and contributed to the 7th Creative Time Summit, Venice, 2015. Rakun lives and works in Jakarta.
