AAAAA An Amazing Arboretum As Actual Art

bak Young Fellows, 2023 presents:

AAAAA An Amazing Arboretum As Actual Art

Dark forests tend to scare us. Not knowing who or what is there; sights, sounds nor smells. People stay passive in harsh environments. Passive in the world we live in. Do we have the luxury to remain passive?

Bak Young Fellows Cohort 1, 2023 invites you into their forest – An Amazing Arboretum As Actual Art. Get to know the creatures of their forest, their yell for action, and join them with your voice.

During the last 4 months a group of 14 youngsters have been working on projects concerning the world we live in today, and how they would like the world to be. Join us for the exhibition opening on Saturday the 20st of January, 15 hrs.

Usufructuaries of earth
Chapter one: exhibition

The exhibition foregrounds the artist’s collaborative approach to bringing together ecological, feminist, and decolonial knowledges and practices that put forward ideologies of usufruct, unhinging property-relations from the idiom of individuated possession and toward forms of common userships between humans and other-than-humans.
