Anna
Shcherbyna
Anna Shcherbyna is an artist, curator, and illustrator. She graduated from National Academy of Visual Art and Architecture, Kyiv (2015) and the Contemporary Art Course at Kyiv Academy of Media Arts, Kyiv (2015). In her work, she explores the visual traditions of Ukraine’s painting school, the political aspects of a landscape, historical memory, and gender performativity. Shcherbyna works with painting, drawing, video, and installation, and practices collective exchanges and co–operation. Since 2009, Shcherbyna resides and works in Kyiv.
